Educational Qualification
Technician Grade 1 Signal
Candidates should possess any one of the following:
- Engineering Degree
- Engineering Diploma
- B.Sc. in relevant disciplines such as Physics, Electronics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Instrumentation.
Technician Grade 3
- Matriculation (10th Pass) with ITI from a recognized NCVT/SCVT institution in the relevant trade, or
- Completed Apprenticeship in the related trade.
Age Limit (as on 1 July 2026)
- Technician Grade 1 Signal: 18–33 years
- Technician Grade 3: 18–30 years
Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per Government of India rules.
Selection Process
Candidates will be selected through the following stages:
- Computer-Based Test (CBT)
- Document Verification
- Medical Examination
Salary
- Technician Grade 1 Signal: ₹29,200 per month (Level 5)
- Technician Grade 3: ₹19,900 per month (Level 2)
Application Fee
- SC/ST, Ex-Servicemen, PwBD, Female, Transgender, Minorities & Economically Backward Candidates: ₹250
- All Other Candidates: ₹500
Fee refund is applicable as per the recruitment rules after appearing in the CBT.
